To understand the future, we need to have a clear understanding of the past by looking at longitudinal studies and long-term clinical data. Dental implantology and digital dentistry, along with advances in dental material science, have all contributed to renaissance in prosthodontics and aesthetic dentistry. This presentation will look at a “revolutionary evolution,” evidence-based long-term data and concerns based on relevant studies. It will also discuss how our treatments have changed both philosophically and in our approach to treatment care. Upon successful completion of this lecture, attendees will be able to visualize and appreciate the changes in prosthodontics and aesthetic dental technology, and how they influence technique and patient care prognosis.
