The Second District Dental Society is the local component of the New York State Dental Association and the American Dental Association representing 1,400 member dentists in Brooklyn and Staten Island. Proposed Revised Constitution & Bylaws
At the direction of SDDS President Dr. Paul Teplitsky, the Constitution & Bylaws Committee, chaired by Dr. Phyllis Merlino, completed the first full revision of the Constitution & Bylaws in more than 10 years. After four months of careful review, the Committee updated outdated language, streamlined committee structures, clarified roles and responsibilities, and modernized provisions to better serve members.
