Subject: "Bioemulation with Minimally Invasive Ceramic Materials and Adhesion Techniques"

Essayist: Richard Trushkowsky, D.D.S.
Associate Director, Advanced Program for International Dentists in Esthetic Dentistry, New York University College of Dentistry

This lecture will demonstrate how new restorative materials and adhesive techniques can be utilized to create long-term conservative dentistry. A variety of cases done in either the speaker’s practice or at New York University will serve to demonstrate the wide-ranging potential for both anterior and posterior restorations. Often not considered is the gingival tissue that frames especially anterior restorations. Sometimes grafting, crown lengthening or pink porcelain are necessitated to achieve the best esthetics. Clinical cases will illustrate these phenomena.

Upon successful completion of this lecture, attendees will learn:

  • The concept of bioemulation
  • How to prepare and place resin-bonded fixed dental prostheses
  • The pink is as important as the white with restorations
  • Combining veneers and implants
