The October Meeting is designated as Neighborhood Groups Night, when we welcome the leadership of the local study groups active in the Second District area. The report of the SDDS Nominating Committee and other business matters will be presented prior to the evening's scientific program. The lecture entitles SDDS members to one hour of CE credit.

Synopsis:
This lecture will familiarize general dentists with the most common pediatric dental emergencies as they present to the dental office. It will include a discussion of the short and long-term prognoses of such cases, as well as the involvement of other dental specialties. Upon successful completion of the lecture, participants will learn typical clinical presentation, etiology, clinical treatment and management, including post-operative instructions given to the patient and parent regarding pediatric dental emergencies.
