(BROOKLYN) (HANDS-ON COURSE) Introduction to Diode Lasers (#2024-15)

*This course is a hands-on course and has limited enrollment. Register EARLY to reserve a spot!

Venue:
Second District Dental Society Headquarters
111 Fort Greene Place
Brooklyn, NY 11217
(718) 522-3939

Clinician:
John J. Graeber, D.M.D.
Attending, Morristown Memorial Hospital; Certified Laser Educator, Academy of Laser Dentistry

Synopsis:
This half-day program is intended as an introductory course into the use of the diode laser as a patient-friendly alternative instrument for the general practitioner or periodontal specialist. Everyday procedures such as tissue troughing for impressions, gingivoplasty and pontic preparation can be more easily accomplished. Minor oral surgical procedures are simplified and bloodless when the diode laser is used instead of conventional methods. Diode lasers enhance periodontal results by more effectively reducing bacteria and biofilm. All tissues can heal faster when exposed to the biostimulatory effects of diode lasers. Case studies and microscopic videography will be an integral part of the presentation. Upon successful completion of this course, attendees will learn:

  • How a diode laser can replace traditional instrumentation with simplicity.
  • How diodes are preferred by a vast majority of dental users and patients.
  • Why a diode laser enables a dentist to increase the number and quality of everyday procedures.
