Synopsis:
This lecture will consist of three parts. 

Part 1, "Accurate data acquisition for various reconstructive cases," will cover the following: 

  • Ideal & alternative comprehensive treatment planning
  • Indications of reconstructive cases
  • Photographic data acquisition (digital & conventional)
  • Occlusal analysis (static & dynamic)
  • Occlusal data acquisition of maxillomandibular relationship
  • Rationale and methodology of systematic mock-up 

Part 2, "Prosthetically-driven surgical execution," will cover the following: 

  • Innovations in the surgical arena (medical and dental)
  • Various surgical options in implant dentistry (freehand, static, dynamic and haptic robotics)
  • YOMI robotics and its current implication
  • Prosthetically-driven implant surgery
  • Emergence profile with various innovative methods
  • Trajectory-guided implant surgery (TGIS) workflow
  • Prosthesis implant arch area ratio (PIAAR) and its goal of automated implant distribution planning

Part 3, "Craftmanship of the restorative phase in prosthetic reconstruction," will cover the following: 

  • Appreciating the discrepancy potential
  • Achieving a nearly perfect impression (tooth & implant)
  • Verification for implant rehabilitation
  • Facebow
  • Critical importance of intra-orally verified provisionals
  • Maxillomandibular relationships
  • Cross-mountings
  • Delivering methodologies

Upon successful completion of this course, attendees will learn about: 

  1. Accurate data acquisition for various reconstructive cases

Refund and Cancellation Policy:
All requests for refunds or credits must be made in writing or by phone and received at least two weeks prior to the course date. A full refund, less a ten dollar ($10.00) administrative charge, or if requested and available, credit for a similarly priced course will be issued. Refunds or credits requested after this date will not be granted, including requests made based on absence due to illness, late arrival for courses and/or weather conditions. In the event that a course is cancelled by Second District, paid tuition will be fully refunded.
