Synopsis:
This course will cover the following:
- Anatomy of a comprehensive oral exam.
- What is an occlusal exam and is it really important?
- When do you change the existing occlusal scheme and when do you not change the existing occlusal scheme?
- How do you relay your exam findings to your patient so they can accept full-mouth dentistry regardless of their insurance coverage?
- If you change your mindset, you can change your patient's mindset. Until then, you will continue to do only what the insurance covers.
- What makes the patient accept and agree to your treatment plan with no pain/symptoms?
Upon successful completion of this course, attendees will learn the anatomy of a comprehensive oral exam, gain an in-depth understanding of occlusion, and see real-life examples of how to manage patients to both understand and agree to a full-mouth dental treatment plan.

Refund and Cancellation Policy:
All requests for refunds or credits must be made in writing or by phone and received at least two weeks prior to the course date. A full refund, less a ten dollar ($10.00) administrative charge, or if requested and available, credit for a similarly priced course will be issued. Refunds or credits requested after this date will not be granted, including requests made based on absence due to illness, late arrival for courses and/or weather conditions. In the event that a course is cancelled by Second District, paid tuition will be fully refunded.
