SDDS General Membership Meeting - "Hope for the Hopeless: The Perio-Restorative Practice" by Alisa Neymark, D.D.S.

The April Meeting is designated as Branch Society Night, when we welcome the officers and members of the Richmond County Dental Society, the official branch of the Second District Dental Society. Elections to the SDDS 2021 Nominating Committee will be held prior to the evening's featured scientific presentation. The meeting entitles attendees to one (1) hour of CE credit.

Hope for the Hopeless: The Perio-Restorative Practice

Synopsis:

Dr. Neymark will be discussing periodontal splinting using the Ribbond system and deep margin elevation, as well as touching on occlusal equilibration as an alternative to implant therapy.

Upon successful completion of the lecture participants will:

  • Learn how to splint periodontally affected teeth using Ribbond as an adjunct to grafting to improve outcomes
  • Discuss the benefits of and indications for deep margin elevation

  • Identify how occlusion plays a role in biologic breakdown
