 y are important concerns during comprehensive cancer care and management o
 f osteoporosis. Bisphosphonates and denosumab are antiresorptive medicatio
 ns widely used for the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis and skelet
 al complications associated with metastatic cancer and multiple myeloma. M
 edication-related osteonecrosis of the jaw (MRONJ) related to antiresorpti
 ve therapy is a condition that has created numerous dilemmas in patient ma
 nagement and may have a broad health impact. Minimizing the risk of MRONJ 
 is critical\, not only to prevent MRONJ but also to maximize the benefit o
 f antiresorptive therapy. This case-based presentation will review evidenc
 e-based data that has led to paradigm shifts for pathogenesis and innovati
 ve strategies for risk assessment\, prevention and management of MRONJ.Upo
