 n dental offices. The specific advantages and disadvantages of performing 
 CPR within the dental operatory will be discussed. This program utilizes h
 ands-on practice sessions for all participants. Topics to be covered will 
 include heart attacks and strokes (signs and symptoms)\, sudden cardiac ar
 rest/defibrillation\, airway obstruction (choking)\, respiratory emergenci
 es\, anaphylactic reactions\, emergency drug kits and more. Upon successfu
 l completion of this course\, participants will gain the knowledge and han
 ds-on experience needed to administer CPR safely and effectively. Completi
 on of this course will also satisfy the New York State Education Departmen
