SDDS Children's Dental Health Day Program at Aviator Sports & Events Center - Sunday, Febrary 5, 2012
Dentists from the Second District Dental Society will be offering free oral health screenings for children from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Aviator Sports & Events Center in Brooklyn. Screenings will be conducted in the Colgate Bright Smiles, Bright Futures dental van outside the sports center. SDDS volunteers will also be providing patient education through audio/visual presentations and distributing toothpaste, toothbrushes and other dental health related items. The Dr. Molar Magic Show and NY Masonic Child Safety and Identifcation Program will also be part of the day's activities. Please see the event flyer below for more details.

February is Children's Dental Health Month. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
Second District Dental Society makes a special effort every February to raise and increase awareness of proper oral hygiene and eating habits among school aged children in Brooklyn and Staten Island. To this end, the member dentists of SDDS are volunteering their time to speak at classrooms, assemblies, health fairs, etc. throughout the month of February. If you are a Second District member interested in joining the “proud and many” by volunteering your services this coming February 2012 for our Children’s Dental Health Month activities, please contact SDDS at (718)522-3939 or send us an email.
